Preparation of TiO2-CNT-Ag Ternary Composite Film with Enhanced Photocatalytic Activity via Plasma-Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition

In this study, a TiO2-CNT-Ag ternary composite film was successfully synthesized using the plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition method by simultaneously feeding carbon nanotube (CNT)/Ag suspension and titanium tetraisopropoxide gas. The prepared characterized scanning electron microscopy, transmission energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, photoelectron diffraction, ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy. Moreover, Ag/Ti ratio of confirmed an inductivity-coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer. performance TiO2-composite for degradation rhodamine 6G under simulated solar light irradiation evaluated. rate constant approximately 1.8 times greater than that TiO2. This result indicates addition CNT Ag significantly improved photocatalytic activity films.
